Our client is a US headquartered business intelligence firm with an established Asian presence. With a small office in Singapore, they are now expanding their team and looking to bring on board a Business Development Executive. Reporting to a Sales Director, you will support with the retention of existing clients as well as the development of new business within the region. Specific responsibilities include:

 

  • Writing and editing proposals
  • Coordinating and submitting RFP responses
  • Communicating with clients regarding contracts, proposals, etc
  • Managing all sales documentation
  • Dealing with incoming leads (via internet and phone)
  • Serving as a point of contact for client’s procurement tools and managing contract process
  • Inputting and tracking all sales activity using Salesforce.com
  • Coordinating and scheduling sales calls and teleconferences
  • Engaging in cold calling when required

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

 

  • Min 2 years of relevant working experience in account management or sales
  • Great people skills
  • Strong communication skills including business writing skills
  • "Can do" attitude, taking initiative in accomplishing agreed upon goals
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with Hubspot or Salesforce is a plus, but not required

 

This role would suit someone who is looking for flexible working and/or working from home opportunities. The company also has an office in the CBD where you will be based sometimes. The salary is negotiable depending on experience.
