Our client is a leading global data and analytics business and they are now recruiting for a Regional Trade and Location Intelligence Consultant to work with clients to help them optimize their investments in store networks, outlet planning, distribution and sales force planning.


This is a rare opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business unit where you will help a global business build their local and regional capabilities which covers regionalized market data, worldwide digital maps, geomarketing software and adhoc consulting services. The role spans Asia and the Middle East and combines client consulting with business development.


As a Consultant, you’ll build relationships with clients including understanding their needs, identifying opportunities, positioning the company’s solutions and writing proposals. You’ll develop analytical approaches (working closely with technical / data science teams) and provide clients with actionable insights to help them make better business decisions and investments.


To apply we are looking for someone with the following skills/experience:


  • Relevant experience in sales or consulting would be ideal
  • Strong client skills and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders including C-suite
  • Experience working with micro marketing data, geolocation data, consumer and shopper traffic data and core elements of category management
  • Familiarity with mapping software, map visualisation, space management, planogramming software etc
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to understand client’s business questions
  • Ability to work well with global stakeholders
  • Strong in project management and project documentation
  • High level of English language; additional languages would be a strong plus
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as tableau, Qlik View etc a plus


There are excellent opportunities for onward progression both within the business unit and the wider company, including overseas roles. Please note this role requires extensive travel within the region (circa 50%). The salary is flexible depending on experience.
