This is an exciting time to be part of a global business expanding rapidly in APAC. Our client offers a wide range of services and helps companies use customer data to grow their business. They have a wide portfolio of clients across industries including retail and financial services.


For this position, we are looking for someone with the technical ‘know how’ combined with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. As a growing international business, you will be one of the first team members on the ground in Singapore and will be based in the office of one of their key clients, a large multinational retailer. You will work closely with teams based in London and Australia, as well as with regional clients.


In this role you will focus on:


  • Meeting new stakeholders and building relationships
  • Taking the lead on large complex analytics projects, supported by global teams
  • Working with clients on their business challenges – interpreting client briefs and recommending appropriate analytics strategies to provide solutions
  • Hands on analytics work and using innovative analytic techniques
  • Delivering to agreed timescales



  • 5+ years of relevant previous experience (ideally with some exposure in retail and/or financial services industries)
  • Degree in a relevant subject
  • Substantial hands on analytics experience i.e. segmentation, models
  • Extensive experience with R/SPSS/SAS
  • Proficiency in machine learning techniques and data science tools (SQL, Python)
  • Strong experience in data visualisation
  • Ability to confidently explain capabilities of the team / wider business
  • Ability to communicate with non-technical audiences and present data in a usable, insightful format
  • Enthusiastic and innovative at problem solving
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to work well with little supervision, comfortable working remotely
