Description

With several offices globally, they have ambitious plans for growth driven by a desire to change market research, and underpinned by innovative solutions and exceptional client servicing. This is a great opportunity for a commercial, client focused research professional to step into a heavy account servicing and business development role.

 

You’ll be eased into this role, initially supporting with incoming enquiries / warm leads and managing relationships with smaller existing clients. After the first year or so, you’ll take the lead in developing new accounts and proactively helping to expand the business across the region.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, establishing and building relationships with clients to create valued, long term relationships
  • Understanding clients’ business problems and proposing appropriate solutions
  • Frequent travel within the region to ensure regular face to face time with clients
  • Writing winning proposals and closing deals
  • Representing the company at industry events and conferences
  • Growing the client base for the company
  • Creating marketing content and coming up with ideas to engage with clients in creative ways
  • Utilising CRM systems

 

Requirements:

 

  • In the region of 4-6 years + years of experience in business development or client servicing within the market research industry
  • Ability to identify and drive commercial business opportunities with clients, utilising your solid sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent client servicing skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong consulting skills and ability to think strategically
  • Existing client network in the region (preferred not essential)
  • Previous experience working in a small business would be ideal
  • Ability to work autonomously when needed
  • Ambitious and highly motivated
