Our client is a global communications firm, one of the most highly regarded in the business. This is an exciting role where you’ll work as multidisciplinary teams to transform data into insights and strategy for your clients, working on a number of highly complex and challenging issues such as brand and corporate reputation. You’ll get exposure to a wide range of research including data analytics, digital tools and real time reporting as well as industries, working alongside clients like Facebook, Google and Heineken.


This role would suit a strategic research / branding professional with experience using research to develop strategy. While a core understanding of Quantitative and Qualitative methods is essential, we are not looking for someone with a typical market research profile, but require someone who has been closer to the solutions - which could come from client side and/or strategy consulting experience. While still hands on, your role will primarily focus on interpretation of research and data, helping clients solve problems and achieve their business objectives. A good knowledge of the Asian landscape and how businesses operate more generally will be hugely beneficial as you connect research findings to real world business issues.


Key responsibilities:

  • Leading on projects from design to delivery - strong emphasis on conceptualising research and reporting (less on research operations and logistics)
  • Producing clients reports and white papers
  • Delivering presentations to clients
  • Working collaboratively with wide range of stakeholders including clients, colleagues and external vendors


Specific skills / experience required:

  • Broad research / strategy experience with exposure to both Quantitative and Qualitative approaches would be ideal
  • Background on the client or agency side (a combination would be perfect)
  • Highly strategic and able to translate data and information into strategies
  • Fluency in English (Cantonese is preferred)
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail – SPSS experience would be ideal
  • Able to work well with / manage a wide range of stakeholders
