Our client is a well-known global provider of online market research services, catering to a wide range of businesses in the region. Their survey based research approaches helps companies and brands capture data and information to inform business decision making and strategy.


Due to continued growth within the APAC region, our client is now seeking a Team Leader for their Singapore office. The key focus of this position will be the management of a very large team of project managers who in turn are responsible for two main tasks:

  • client account management (building / maintaining relationships with existing clients)
  • operational management (running market research projects from end to end e.g. designing questionnaires, launching survey links, delivering data to clients)


In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of a significant volume of work from regional clients valued in the $ millions on an annual basis and hence we are seeking someone special who is very experienced in managing and motivating a large team.


Key responsibilities:


  • Day to day management of a large team of project managers – motivating and developing teams, staff recruitment, training, performance reviews and appraisals
  • Resource / workload planning for teams in the region as well as individual projects to ensure projects run on time and to budget
  • Supporting clients in Singapore and across the region to ensure superior client service – managing and building key client relationships; supporting sales’ teams
  • Working closely with regional and global teams to launch new operational processes and procedures as required
  • Ensuring data quality at all stages
  • Maintaining account specific operating profit and revenue targets





  • At least several years of experience managing large teams (around 10 staff)
  • Very strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • An understanding of basic market research principles and technologies and a strong desire to develop your career in this space (no prior experience in market research is required)
  • Ability to work as part of a regional team
  • Experience managing project-specific budgets
  • Experience setting up and/or revising processes and procedures
  • Strong project management and operational skills to ensure smooth execution of projects
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced agency environment and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working across time zones to support clients / projects in other markets where necessary
  • Happy to be hands on with project work
  • Ability to travel (where required)
