Description

Are you a quantitative researcher looking to take the next big step in your career and expand your horizons? Would you be excited to enter a world of future-focused insights, sitting at the intersection between traditional research and data science? How about joining a multidisciplinary team comprised of researchers, analysts and engineers?

About the Role:

Our client is a global business and they are now hiring for a new team member in their Singapore office. As a Research Manager in this role, you'll set up and manage research and consulting projects for a variety of clients, including tech, finance, f&b and public sector. This will mean involvement from brief to delivery, supporting senior team members and getting close to clients to understand their business. You will coordinate projects, liaising with a range of team members, both internal and third-party, to ensure projects are executed smoothly and reports are accurate, timely, insightful and ultimately answer the brief.

Expect to be pushed outside of your comfort zone to do great work and get the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects which combine research, tools, data and analytics. In addition, the chance to work on lots of broader initiatives within the business. If you believe variety its the spice of life, then this role is sure to suit you!

About You:

We are looking for a confident candidate with a proven track record in managing quantitative research projects. Around 3-5 years of primary research experience would be about right, ideally with some exposure to, or an appreciation for, other methodologies e.g. qualitative, secondary research etc. Independence is important as at times you will have to work autonomously, so you should be proactive and resourceful when needed. The ability to break down complex ideas into strong visual presentations and reports, turning data into insights into stories is also important! Strong client and communication skills are essential, as is a curious mind, ‘can do’ attitude and ability to work well in a team with varied backgrounds.

Why Apply?

  • Awaiting you is the chance to join an innovative firm with strong technology backing
  • Opportunity to work on consulting engagements which span broad methodologies and approaches, combing research with analytics and data
  • Impressive and inspiring team from range of backgrounds and disciplines. We know, we work with them closely!
  • Unit continued to enjoy growth despite challenging 2020
  • Lots of opportunity for exposure and progression
  • Competitive package
