Our client is a Business Intelligence company, established for over 20 years and renowned as a world leading data provider to the largest global industries. They collect and analyze terabytes of data to create comprehensive, authoritative and granular market intelligence covering industries as diverse as pharmaceutical, tech, energy and FMCG.


As a New Business Development Manager for consumer goods clients in the region, you will be responsible for engaging with senior leaders and winning new corporate customers by matching the company’s information services to clients' business objectives and strategic initiatives. This is a primarily phone-based role targeting new accounts, from prospecting to running demos and closing deals. You will have the chance to make a real difference to how companies grow and expand their business in the region so it will be important for you to keep up to date with news, trends and topics within the category so you are able to advise clients.


Skills and Experience required

  • Extensive experience in subscription sales (4-8+ years) across a range of different products and industry sectors (ideally with some experience in Consumer – Beverages, Food, Foodservice etc)
  • Hunter mentality, with the desire to build a professional career in the business intelligence industry
  • A track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Comfortable with new business development as well as client renewals and upgrades
  • Excellent communication skills - clear and articulate communicator
  • Experience in using a CRM system
  • Ambitious to grow your career
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent


The salary is entirely flexible based on experience and there is a very competitive package on offer to the chosen candidate, comprised of base salary and commission.
